THEFT BY STUDENT: Police were dispatched Jan. 6 to Glacier Middle School following a report of the theft of a hand-held radio. Office staff reported the radio was found in a student’s backpack. Statements were collected and the case was forwarded to juvenile court for review and charging.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY: A resident of Freelane Road told police Jan. 5 of a burglary that had just occurred. Police were shows a glass door that had been damage during the incident. Numerous items were said to be missing.

STOLEN, RECOVERED: Officers were dispatched the evening of Jan. 1 to a Couls Avenue location, where a motor vehicle theft had just occurred. Officers found the abandoned vehicle nearby; it was returned to the owner. A suspect was not located.

MULTIPLE WARRANTS: Officers were dispatched the morning of Dec. 31 to a Park Avenue location, where a suspicious vehicle was parked in a driveway. Police contacted an occupant who had multiple warrants from around the area. An Enumclaw warrant was confirmed and the person was transported for booking. The vehicle was impounded.

WARNED, RELEASED: Police responded the evening of Dec. 31 to a state Route 410 location where a vehicle was parked in front of a gated and locked area. A man was found inside the gated area. The business owner elected not to press charges; the man was warned and released.

THREE CHARGED: Police stopped a vehicle at 11:50 p.m. Dec. 31 due to a traffic violation. The 20-year-old driver had a suspended license and two female passengers, one 16 and one 18, were in possession of alcohol. All three were arrested and released.
