East Pierce Fire and Rescue on scene of brush fire near Tehaleh

The following is a report from the East Pierce firefighters Facebook site.
• East Pierce firefighters were back on the scene today at the site of last nights brush fire near Tehaleh.
Heavy equipment has been brought in to continue to ensure the fire is out. As you can see the fuels are in a state that they will readily burn.
The cause is still under investigation. Fire season this year is expected to be earlier, and more destructive. We will keep you updated. Stay safe.
