Pierce Co. doctor’s license restricted; charged with having sex with patient | Department of Health

The Medical Quality Assurance Commission has immediately restricted the medical license of physician John F. Gillman due to allegations of sexual misconduct.
Charges state that Gillman (MD60265170) had a nine-month sexual relationship with a female patient and demonstrated an unreasonably high risk of imminent harm to patients and the public.
The restriction means that Gillman cannot treat female patients in Washington until the charges are resolved. He has 20 days to respond to the charges and to request a hearing.
The documents in this case can be seen online by clicking “Look up a health care provider” on theDepartment of Health website. Copies can be requested by calling 360-236-4700. That number can also be used to file complaints against health care providers in Washington.
