Chinook and Cayuse passes remain temporarily closed

State Route 410/Chinook Pass and SR 123/Cayuse Pass remain closed because of increased avalanche risk.

That’s quite an amazing feat for our maintenance crews, considering that dozens of trees fell onto SR 410 between Enumclaw and Greenwater on Tuesday.

We are currently reevaluating road conditions to decide whether the passes can reopen or if they will remain closed for the season.
