FACEBOOK THREAT: A woman expressed concern Feb. 7 about threatening comments made in a Facebook post, though they were not directed at her. An officer reviewed the messages, which were forwarded to an investigator to determine if further action was warranted.
SHOPLIFT, MORE: After hearing Feb. 7 of a shoplifting incident at a Roosevelt Avenue store, police located and stopped an associated vehicle. The driver was arrested for operating a vehicle with a suspended license and booked into jail; a female passenger was to be cited for theft and attempted theft via the mail. An identification card was recovered and mailed to its rightful owner.
WANTED IN KENT: Reports of a suspicious woman had police responding at 10:18 p.m. Feb. 5 to a Griffin Avenue convenience store. The woman was found to be wanted on warrants out of both Kent and Puyallup. She was arrested and transported to the Kent jail.
