Daniel Richard Filkins died Feb. 23, 2019.
He was an avid hunter, fisherman and master carpenter.
He is survived by life partner Cindi Freeman; mother Nancy G. Steinbrenner; sister Linda N. Shaffer; and brothers Glenn W. Shaffer and John R. Filkins. He was preceded in death by father William R. Filkins and sister Pmela J. Shaffer.
A celebration of his life is planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at the Black Diamond Eagles, 32618 Railroad Ave., Black Diamond, 98010.
