Mary Cnossen

Mary “Marie” Cnossen, 101, of Enumclaw, WA went home to her Lord and Savior November 13, 2019 at Heritage House, Buckley, WA. She was born to Jan and Geertje Tinga on April 21, 1918 in Suameer, Friesland, Netherlands.

In 1948 the family of five immigrated to Southern California where they lived until moving to Elma Washington in 1960 to start a dairy farm. Two years later they relocated to Auburn, Washington and continued dairy farming. Marie retired to Enumclaw where she had many friends, loved knitting beautiful sweaters, needle point and growing her gorgeous tulips. She is survived by her children: Sam (Sonja) of Battle Ground, WA, John (Duska) of Lake Havasue City, AZ, Trudi Richards of Rochester, WA., Fred (Leslie) of Prescott Valley AZ., and Richard of Enumclaw, WA., 7 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Mary was proceeded in death by her daughter Josie Krumins, son-in-law Mac Richards, granddaughter Lisa Wirachowski, 2 sisters and a brother.

A private family memorial service will be later. Our family greatly appreciates the caring staff at Heritage House.
