SINGLE EVENTS

Feb. 1

• The Enumclaw library is hosting a vaccination event from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The Moderna, Pfizer, and J&J vaccines will be available, as well as the pediatric Pfizer dose for children. There will be limited slots for walk-ins, and you are highly encouraged to pre-register by going to https://prepmod.doh.wa.gov//appointment/en/reg/9956107129 (for adults) or https://prepmod.doh.wa.gov//appointment/en/reg/0763291996 (for kids). Feb. 4

• The Enumclaw Expo Center is hosting the 13th annual Wine and Chocolate event on Feb. 4 and 5, from 4 to 10 p.m. Tickets, which are $35, come with six tasting tickets and a commemorative glass; additional drink tickets can be purchased for $1 each at the event. There is also a “designated driver” ticket option for $10. Tickets can be bought at www.enumclawexpo.com/event-info/wine-chocolate-festival-2022.

Feb. 8

• It’s election day! Make sure to fill our your ballot and either mail it (counties recommend dropping your ballot in the mail the Friday before Election Day) or drop it off at your nearest King/Pierce County ballot drop box (Enumclaw, the Enumclaw library; Black Diamond, the Black Diamond library; Buckley, the Buckley library; South Prairie, the South Prairie Fire Department; Wilkeson, Wilkeson Town Hall) by 8 p.m.

Feb. 9

• Enumclaw’s Game Vault is hosting a D&D Character Creation Night starting at 6:30 p.m. This is an informational session to meet the Dungeon Masters, build characters, and ask questions about the game system: a West Marches Campaign using Dungeon & Dragons 5E.

Feb. 11

• The Chalet Theatre is hosting the Best of Seattle International Comedy Competition, featuring 2019 winner Nancy Norton from Denver. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show begins at 8 p.m. Ticket are $20, and can be bought at www.eventbrite.com/e/best-of-the-seattle-international-comedy-competition-tickets-247905280367.

Feb. 12

• The Chalet Theatre is hosting Hysteria, a Def Leppard tribute band. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show begins at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 online or $25 at the door, and can be bought at www.eventbrite.com/e/hysteria-tribute-to-def-leppard-tickets-224167349577.

• Feb. 14

The Enumclaw City Council will be hosting Susan Boyle of BOLA Architecture + Planning, who will be presenting the city’s progress in being designated a historical landmark through King County. A grant from 4Culture is assisting in funding this important project for the community. 4Culture provides funding and support for the cultural work that makes King County vibrant which also is helping communities recognize, preserve and explore our shared heritage. The meeting begins at 7 p.m.

Feb. 23

• The Enumclaw Garden Club is hosting its annual Breakfast for the Birds event at the Enumclaw Expo Center’s Field House (Pete’s Pool) starting at 9 a.m. The speaker this year will be Master Gardener Marianne Binetti. The theme is English Country Garden. Tickets can be bought by calling Lanette Knapp at 360-802-0268; checks can be made out to the Enumclaw Garden Club. 50 tickets are available to the public; no tickets will be sold at the door. COVID protocols will be in effect.

RECURRING EVENTS

Coffee with the Mayor

• Coffee with the Mayor is held at City Hall on every first Monday of the month (Tuesday if it is on a holiday) from 9 to 10 a.m. This is a casual session for citizens to meet with Mayor Jan Molinaro to discuss issues, concerns, and projects.

Brewski with a Newsie

• Come meet your local journalists on the first Wednesday of each month at Cole Street Brewery (1627 Cole Street, Enumclaw) from 5 to 6 p.m. This is an informal event where residents can pitch stories, fact-check articles, and talk shop. Magic: The Gathering — Casual Commander Tuesdays

• Enumclaw’s Game Vault hosts a casual, multi-player Magic: The Gathering session every Tuesday starting at 6 p.m., where you can play your favorite Commander (with no limitations on power level). Price of admission is $5, and includes a soda and snack.
