Editor’s note: The following is a press release from Crystal Mountain Resort.

Pacific Northwest skiers and riders can hit the slopes one last time for the 25/26 season at Crystal Mountain Saturday and Sunday, April 25-26.

Operations are scheduled for the Green Valley Express from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. with up and download via the Mount Rainier Gondola. More lifts and terrain may be available as conditions allow. All valid passes are available for use during this weekend, including new 26/27 full Ikon Pass purchasers. Day tickets, scenic gondola tickets, and rentals will be available, along with dining at the Summit House, Washington’s highest restaurant, at 6,872 feet.

“Even in the face of one of the more difficult winters Crystal Mountain has seen in a while, we’re still committed to offering the longest ski season possible for our skiers and riders,” said Peter Dale, Senior Director of Mountain Operations at Crystal Mountain. “The high elevation and north-facing slopes of Green Valley continue to hold snow and provide great skiing, even in tougher years.”

As of March 27, the mid-mountain base depth is at 60 inches.

As always, mountain operations are dependent on weather and conditions. Be aware that there may be no beginner terrain available. Check the Mountain Report page for the most current lift and terrain status.

NEW EVENT: MT. RAINIER BERM BRAWL

Get ready to drop into the Mt. Rainier Berm Brawl for a one-of-a-kind Banked Slalom at Crystal Mountain April 25-26! This all-ages, snowboard event is packed with high-speed action, prizes, and good vibes on the slopes. Whether you’re racing for the podium or just here for the party, it’s time to carve into spring.

Red Bull will be fueling the stoke with free samples, and our DJ will keep the beats pumping all weekend long.

SPRINGTIME AT CRYSTAL MOUNTAIN

Crystal Mountain is gearing up for another standout spring skiing season, delivering alpine sunshine, signature events, the occasional sneaker powder day, and playful springtime corn snow that Pacific Northwest skiers and riders look forward to each year. Known for having “more corn than Kansas,” spring skiing here hits a sweet spot.

Parking: Reservations are no longer required after March 29, when parking becomes first-come, first-served. The Crystal Express Shuttle service ends on March 29 as well.

Ride to Win: Track your days on the Ikon App for a chance to win a 26/27 Ikon Pass or a $50 Crystal Mountain Gift Card! Only 5 days are needed to enter. With less than a month left on mountain, it’s time to hit it.

Mountain Credits: Don’t forget, Ikon pass holder Mountain Credits expire at the end of the season. Check your Ikon account for more information.

April Kids Ski Free

Crystal Mountain is once again inviting families to make the most of springtime with Kids 12 and younger skiing and riding for free April 1-19, as well as our bonus weekend. Spring on the mountain is the perfect time for beginners with soft snow, sunnier skies, and warmer temperatures. These free tickets can be fulfilled online or in person and picked up at Guest Services.
