Buckley Kiwanis selects March Students of the Month

Editor’s note: Buckley Kiwanis Club members honored two young residents as their March students of the month. The following information was provided by the club, based on input from the schools.
Glacier Middle School – Jarvis Dahl
Jarvis is a third-year leadership student and athlete at Glacier.When he isn’t competing in track or cross country, he is helping the coaches with practice. Jarvis took care of water coolers, flags, equipment before and after practice, without being asked. He is basically a manager and athlete at the same time.
In leadership, he has the mentality, see a need, meet a need. We can count on Jarvis to volunteer for every event. He also makes sure to leave places better than he found them. On a daily basis, Jarvis helps committees keep track of time and materials. And, if he is done with his tasks, he always asks other groups if they need help.
Jarvis is an invaluable member of our program.
White River High School – Jeremiah Smith
Jeremiah has learned to use the lights and sound system in the theater and essentially serves as Bob Englebert’s understudy during events in the theater. All of these events are beyond the school day on his own time where he consistently displays professionalism and dependability.
