Letter to the Editor: How can Christians support this president?

The last line in Mr Bus’s letter on the no kings protests, stated that “Christ is King” (“No Kings” and the real regimes of the world,” published April 15).
I feel that may not be the case for many supporters of the current president. Particularly after the presidents recent post of him in Christlike robes surrounded by admirers, while laying hands on someone that looks like Jon Stewart. On top of similar posts by the claiming divine blessing made over the years. I can only imagine MAGA’s twitterpated reactions if anyone else dared to post stuff like that even once.
The words of Christ are supposedly known by devout christians. Who then normally do their best to follow them. There have been numerous instances where the words acts and deeds of Christ have directly conflicted with those of the president.
I really want to know. When there is a conflict between the two, which does the individual maga follow? In my experience, a large percentage of them follow the president.
I’ve heard comparisons of the president to the antichrist back in 2015. I suspect those may be just as valid as the claims saying the same for the last 3-4 democrat presidents. But I won’t say that with confidence. However, there’s a website that does make the best case for marking an individual that I’ve had fun reading over the decades.
If I recall, the Bible says that: it’s the “most devout” are the most blinded. That’s how the individual can supposedly do what this interpretation of revelations says they can.
