Filing week begins on Monday, which is when Plateau residents can officially announce their intention to run for office.

That said, most council positions in Enumclaw, Black Diamond, and Buckley expire in 2027 or 2029.

The exception is Enumclaw’s Council Pos. No. 6, currently held by Council member Amber Stanley; her term expires this December because she was appointed to the council earlier this year.
