A petition has been made to convince the city of Enumclaw to improve the Ellenson Dog Park.

The petition calls for several changes and upgrades to the park, which has relatively few amenities for users.

One of the big requests is adding potra-potties.

“Some visitors visit park for long periods of time and/or commute a long distance to it,” the petition reads. “Humans need to potty too.”

Other asks include installing a water line that leads to both the big and small dog areas; moving trash away from the current seating areas; adding a storage area for shared toys or lost and found items; and constructing more benches for sitting, especially in shaded areas.

The petition currently has 25 signatures, with a goal of 50.
