Letter to the Editor: Independence Day parade barriers a ‘vibekill’
Published 10:00 am Wednesday, July 29, 2026
First of all, thanks to the people who made the 4th of July Parade happen. However, I cannot tell you enough times what a terrible idea the barricades along the street were.
It was as if we were watching the 250th anniversary of our country from behind jail bars. Parents, keep your kids out of the street when it’s dangerous – and let them dance around before the parade starts – it sets the happy mood!
Total vibekill!
Please rethink this before the Christmas parade.
