At today’s Committee of the Whole, committee members sent to the full Council for discussion and possible action:
- An ordinance authorizing an interagency agreement between King County and the city of Burien regarding design, construction, ownership, operation and maintenance of the portion of Segment B of the Lake to Sound trail that is within the city (Ordinance 2014-0365).
- An ordinance authorizing an interagency agreement between King County and the city of SeaTac regarding design, construction, ownership, operation and maintenance of the portion of Segment B of the Lake to Sound trail that is within the city (Ordinance 2014-0366).
Committee members also took public comment on:
- An ordinance continuing a temporary use permit for homeless encampments (Ordinance 2014-0424).No action was taken on the ordinance, which remains in committee.
At today’s Council meeting, Councilmembers:
- Unanimously approved a motion confirming the executive’s appointment of William Hayes as director of the department of adult and juvenile detention (Motion 2014-0354).
