Plenty of sirens were screaming through Enumclaw between 4:30 and 5 p.m. Monday.
The reason? A brush fire on the city’s north side that was whipped by gusty winds.
The fire was in a field north of Battersby Avenue and east of Cole Street.
While firefighters attempted to keep flames under control, police blocked acces to the area.
