Items returned, shoplifters trespassed | Enumclaw police reports Dec. 1-4

SHOPLIFTING: Police were called at 12:40 a.m. to a Roosevelt Avenue location where a shoplifting incident had just occurred. Police contacted the suspects and the stolen merchandise was returned. The business declined to prosecute, but the suspects were ordered to stay away from the establishment.

WELFARE CHECK: Police were called the evening of Dec. 4 to check on the welfare of a female who entered a Myrtle Avenue building, then exited and was found stretched out in the alley in the rain. The woman was evaluated and transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital.

GET TO SCHOOL: A parent contacted the police the morning of Dec. 4 to assist with an uncooperative child who was not wanting to go to school. The issue was settled upon police contact.

THEFT: A burglary report was issued the morning of Dec. 2 by staff at a Roosevelt Avenue business. A cash register was damaged and unidentified items were stolen.

DISORDERLY: A report issued shortly before 9 p.m. Dec. 1 told of an unwanted, intoxicated man sitting in the front yard at a Chinook Avenue address. He was reportedly yelling and waving a bottle. He was taken into custody for disorderly conduct.

TEEN DRINKING: A citizen told police at 10 p.m. Dec. 1 of a party at a Davis Avenue location that involved teens and alcohol. One juvenile was picked up  by a parent; the juvenile who resides at the home was placed in the custody of an adult.
