Crocket earns district time in 100 backstroke

Jordan Crockett earned a 100-yard backstroke district-qualifying time of 1 minute, 2.74 seconds and placed first in the 50 freestyle with a time of 23.88.

The time earned him a first-place spot in the event and he earned a second-place position along with teammates Cale Snider, Cody Steiert, and Scott Milburn in the 400 freestyle relay.

Snider placed second in the 100 freestyle with a time of 59.49 and Steiert placed second in the 500 freestyle with a time of 6:07.46.

The 200 freestyle relay team of Todd Milburn, John Gangl, Kevin Morgan and Eben Sarver earned a time of 1:51:89, placing second.

Crockett, Steiert, Snider, and Sarver placed second in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:58:56, placing second.

Steiert was second in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:15:56.

Bonney Lake competed against Peninsula High on Jan. 8, posting a district time of 2:15.68 in the 200 medley relay. Cody Steiert timed in at 2:31.23 in the 200 freestyle and in the 200 individual medley Nathan Karboski earned a time of 2:59.66.

Jordan Crockett, Cale Snider and Eben Sarver received times of 28.72, 29.24, and 29.51, respectively, in the 50 freestyle and in the 100 butterfly John Gangl, Scott Bilburn, and Andrew Allen timed in at 1:23.95, 1:27.96, and 1:40.14.

The 100 freestyle saw Crockett finish with a time of 1:03.47 and the 400 freestyle saw Steiert finish at 5:31.36.
