BURGLARY
• At 12:10 p.m. Feb. 18, police were dispatched to 7731 182nd Ave. E. for a report of burglary. The reporting party walked through the residence with police and stated he thought a couple of items were missing from the master bedroom. The suspect appeared to enter through a first-story window. Several rocks, which may have been used to break the window, were outside on the ground. The victim was given a theft inventory sheet to complete and provide to police.
BURGLARY
• At 1:53 p.m. Feb. 24, police took a report of burglary at a residence at 95 Loop St. East. The homeowner reported an unkown suspect forced open a back door and entered the home while she was at the grocery store. The suspect allegedly took prescription medication, loose change, cigarettes and jewelry from the home. The homeowner reported a similar incident the day before in which prescription medication was stolen.
MALICIOUS MISCHIEF
• At 7:53 a.m. Feb. 17, police responded to a report of an unknown projectile hitting the rear window of a moving vehicle. The rear window shattered as the vehicle was being driven along Sumner-Buckley Highway.
DOMESTIC DISPUTE
• At 8:35 p.m. Feb. 23, police responded to a missing person call. The reporting party said his adult son missing. That call was soon amended to a report a possible domestic violence call on 71st Street East. The disagreement was between the reporting party’s son and the son’s girlfriend. Police discovered the two had warrants for their arrest and they were taken into custody.

COCAINE POSESSION
• At 4:29 a.m. Feb. 23, police responded to a suspicious vehicle call near 193rd Avenue East and 113th Street East. A vehicle had been following a newspaper carrier for 20 minutes. Police located the vehicle, conducted a traffic stop and discovered a smoking device with burnt residue in the center console. The male driver was placed into custody and a baggie of cocaine and a scale were located in the center console. A counterfeit $100 bill was found in the man’s wallet. He was transported to Pierce County Jail and booked for unlawful possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
