One arrested in Bonney Lake drug bust

One person was arrested Wednesday following an early-morning drug bust in Bonney Lake.

According to a press release, members of Metro SWAT served a search warrant early Sept. 21 in the 7700 block of 184th Avenue East.

The warrant was issued by a Pierce County judge based on a narcotics investigation being conducted by the Bonney Lake Police Department’s investigations unit in which police located a marijuana grow operation in the residence.

One suspect was arrested and booked into the Pierce County Jail. No other suspects are being sought at this time.

The investigation is continuing.
