Free holiday dinner at Sumner High School

Members of the Bonney Lake and Sumner community are invited to the annual Holiday Community Dinner to enjoy free food, Santa photos, crafts, games and a movie.

Approximately 89 people were served by student volunteers when the tradition began nine years ago. The event has grown; about 850 community members participated last year.

The event is free and open to all community members from 12 to 4 p.m., Dec. 14 in the Sumner High School Gym, located at 1707 Main Street.

Entertainment and ambience will be provided by Sumner High School’s award-winning jazz band. Sponsors include Sumner High School’s ASB and Leadership classes.
