Donald James Henderson Jr. died Oct. 18, 2012, in Waxahatchie, Texas.

He was born June 18, 1946, in Auburn, Wash. He attended grade school in Black Diamond and graduated in 1964 from Enumclaw High. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1964 to 1968, worked several years for PACCAR and retired from the naval shipyard in Bremerton.

He is survived by sisters Barbra Grier of Modesto, Calif., and Deana Turner of Yakima, Wash.; sons Peter Henderson of Puyallup and Mike Henderson of Waxahachie; and five grandchildren.

A graveside service is planned for 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, at Mountainview Cemetery in Auburn.
