Gladys LaFromboise

Lifelong Enumclaw resident Gladys V. LaFromboise, 90, died May 9, 2012.

She was born Nov. 11, 1921, in Enumclaw to Gunnar and Bertha Kallgren Swanson. She was a winter visitor to Yuma, Ariz., for 35 years. She was a member of the Seattle Orthopedic Guild and Trinity Lutheran Church who was an avid bridge player and loved to travel.

She is survived by son Bruce Lafromboise and wife Cynthia of Yuma; one grandchild and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Pierce Lafromboise in 2001.

At her request, no services took place. Burial was beside her late husband at Evergreen Memorial Park in Enumclaw.

Donations may be made in her name to a local hospice.
