Leonard Lluan Wayne III, 47, died Aug. 10, 2013, in University Place, Wash.

He was born Oct. 15, 1965, a member of the Muckleshoot Tribe. He enjoyed fishing, visiting the Muckleshoot casino, beading, picking huckleberries in the mountains and spending time with family and friends. He loved his 13 cats and is remembered as a free-spirited, spontaneous person.

He is survived by father Leonard Wayne II, brother Kevin Wayne, sister Susan Wayne-Sicade, son Leonard Wayne IV and daughter Paula Thomas, all of Auburn, and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by mother Judy Wayne; baby girl Wayne; brothers Robert Michael Wayne Sr., William Wayne and Brian Wayne; sisters Sandra Wayne, Marcella Wayne and Rose Wayne; grandparents, Edward and Helen Baker, Leonard Wayne Sr. and Noon Satiacum.

Visitation was from 1 to 3 p.m. Aug. 12 at Weeks’ Funeral Home in Buckley and a funeral service took place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, at the Muckleshoot Shaker Church.
