Longtime Ravensdale resident Kenneth Robert Bradley, 76, died March 31, 2018.
He was born April 20, 1941, in Seattle. He attended school in the Seattle area and graduated from Evergreen High in 1959. He enlisted in the U.S. Army following graduation and spent most of his enlistment in Germany. He married Jeanette Kleffner on June 7, 1969, in Seattle. They bought a home in Issaquah in 1969 and in April 1982 moved to acreage in Ravensdale to build a home.
Aside from building his home, he rebuilt a Piper Cub airplane and loved boating, fishing, crabbing and just cruising around. He enjoyed flying, snowmobiling, hunting, camping, fishing and clam digging.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Jeanie; daughter Jessica Burgess of Auburn; brother Robert F. Bradley of Middleton, Idaho; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son Jeff in October 2009.
A funeral service is planned for Friday, May 4, at Tahoma National Cemetery. A celebration of his life will follow at noon at Mount Rainier Christian Center in Enumclaw.
