Margaret Helen “Margie” Buckholdt died Jan. 9, 2020, in Auburn, Washington.

She was born Jan. 28, 1941, in Seattle to John and Mary (Brooke) McKay. She met her future husband Steve while washing his motorcycle. Their first date and their honeymoon were both bike rides and, through the years, they traveled by motorcycle all over the western United States. She loved spending time with her family and her Doberman Winston; hobbies included gardening, reading and genealogy.

She is survived by her husband, Steve; children Lynette Hutchinson (Todd) and Dean Jones; and four grandchildren.

A visitation will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 pm Friday, Jan. 24, at Weeks’ Enumclaw Funeral Home, followed by a 2 p.m. graveside service at Enumclaw Evergreen Memorial Park.

A celebration of life open house is planned for 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, at the family home.
