Stussy engagement announced

Jenelle Stussy and Carl Murrell became engaged July 16, 2009, atop Mount Rainier.

In their second attempt to reach the summit, they were successful. At the top, the groom-elect help up a flag that asked “Will you marry me?” He then provided the bride-to-be with a flag, which had “Yes” printed on both sides.

They intend to marry July 16, 2010, barefoot on the beach on the Hawaiian island of Maui.

Both live in Enumclaw. He is a firefighter and she teaches high school physical education.
