The Arts Alive Studio and Gallery on Cole Street in Enumclaw is hosting a silent auction to raise money for student scholarships through Aug. 9, featuring birdhouses constructed by local artists.

Arts Alive funded four $1,000 scholarship grants to Enumclaw and Buckley High School seniors pursuing the arts this year, and this fundraiser will raise money for next year’s round of scholarships, said Gallery Manager Elaine Lynest.

The studio also gave a grant this summer to the Imagination Theater Summer Program.

Arts Alive is a non-profit storefront for artists to create and sell their pieces. About 30 artists sell their work there. The studio is located at 1429 Cole Street, next door to the Chamber of Commerce. It sells cards, pottery, paintings, jewelry and other items, as well as holds classes for pottery and other artforms.

Bids for the silent auction can be placed at the store. More information is available at https://plateauartsalive.azurewebsites.net.
