Nearly six years ago, chiropractor Perry Chinn sold his Enumclaw practice and began practicing in Tukwila. Now, the Enumclaw resident is expanding that office with an open house and celebrating his book, “Soaring Beyond Fear” with an autograph session.
The Tuesday event in Tukwila, 13028 Interurban Ave. S., Suite 106, begins at 6:30 p.m.
According to his biography, Chinn got his start in chiropractic after he was referred to an Enumclaw chiropractor following a logging accident. Chiropractic helped his body heal quickly and he was able to return to work much sooner than anyone thought possible.
In addition to his practice, Chinn is a speaker, consultant and teacher, of both chiropractic and helicopter instruction.
In “Soaring Beyond Fear,” Chinn goes into the day-to-day manipulations of the fear-mind. He has explored the inner workings of what many have called the ego, an aspect of self that is valuable in crisis, but when allowed to have control, can wreak havoc in people’s lives.
Chinn’s awakening to how his fear mind prevented him from living a life of joy and meaning allowed him to break down barriers and find his own sense of freedom. “Soaring Beyond Fear” is a way for him to share his experience with others struggling to regain control of their lives and destinies by using personal stories and clear-cut advice.
