Former Enumclaw NASCAR driver Kasey Kahne was recently honored as one of the top 75 greatest drivers.

Kahne was placed on the list for being an 18-time NASCAR Cup Series winner, took the “w” in three Coca-Cola 600 races, and most recently was tops at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway’s Brickyard 400 in 2017.

Other major accomplishments include winning multiple races in all three NASCAR national series, eight Xfinity Series wins, and earned five Craftsman Truck Series victories.

Kahne no longer races in NASCAR, having retired in 2018; he now competes in the World of Outlaw sprint car series.

Joining him on the list of greatest drivers was Tony Stewart and Mike Stefanik.

NASCAR’s list began in 1998 as recognizing the top 50 drivers. The list has been expanded to add 25 new names; a full list of drivers can be found on nascar.com.
