On May 2, we went to the Krain Corner to to have brunch with our brother-in law, who lives in Enumclaw.

Earl Sheets is a World War II veteran, who just returned from Washington DC, part of the Puget Sound Honor flight for veterans.

Being 96 years old he speaks a little louder than normal. I too am a Vietnam veteran and my wife is a veteran who served stateside.

As we were getting ready to leave, the waitress said that the person who was seated behind us paid for our meals. He told her to thank us for our service and the stories.
