The 11th annual Harvest Celebration Farm Tour will take place Sept. 26 throughout King County and will include a handful of stops in the Enumclaw region.

Since 1999, this event – sponsored by WSU King County Extension – has provided an opportunity for citizens of King County to experience the vitality of local agriculture, to learn the importance of supporting farmers and to realize the value and joy of eating locally grown and prepared food.

Those taking the farm tour will have the opportunity to meet local farmers, purchase fresh produce, enjoy live music, sample food and participate in activities live corn mazes and hay rides.

Participants from the south King County area are Country Farmers Market, Country Garden Bouquets, Moonshadow Alpaca Ranch, The Little Farm at Windwater, Thunder Mountain Farm, Trees ‘n’ Bees and V2 Farm.. Additionally, there are five farms participating in the east county area and several on Vashon Island.
