Robert Parkin

Robert “Rob” Parkin died Oct. 31, 2025, at the age of 72.

Robert “Rob” Parkin passed away in Wenatchee, WA on Friday, October 31st, 2025 at age 72.

He is survived by his father, Bob Parkin of Omak, WA, his mother Arlene Parkin of Black Diamond, WA and his brother Jeff Parkin of Omak, WA.

He is preceded in death by his brother Kelly Parkin.

Rob leaves behind his beloved partner Sherry Mustain and family, including his well-loved children, Beverley Lembke and Stacy Bell; grandchildren, Karissa Burke, Shane Lembke and Aly Babcock. He also leaves behind Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many good friends.

Rob was born in Enumclaw, WA on October 19, 1953. He grew up in Black Diamond and graduated from Enumclaw High School in 1971. He received his degree from Green River College and worked in the logging industry to pay his way through college.

After graduation he started his banking career in Enumclaw before accepting a job with Bank of the North in Fairbanks, AK. He later moved to Anchorage, AK in 1979 where he continued working in the financial industry. After a successful career in Alaska, he moved back to Washington in 1996 where he bought a small farm in Omak, WA. He raised cattle and alfalfa while working at North Cascades Bank in Chelan, WA.He finished his career with Banner Bank in Omak.

Rob was an easy guy to like. He cared deeply about his family and friends and was always there to help if needed. Rob was a sports enthusiast, loved the outdoors, an avid hunter and fisherman and dog lover. He raised and trained several Chesapeake Bay retrievers. Rob will be truly missed by many friends and family.
