Scott Haven

Scott Edward Haven died Oct. 11, 2025, at the age of 53.

August 10, 1971- October 11, 2025

Scott Edward Haven, known to the biker community as “Catfish”, was born on August 10, 1971, in Falmouth, MA. He transitioned from this life on October 11, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of faith, resilience, and a love for God, his family and his community.

Scott lived in several states with his parents, Ken & Deloris Haven, until his family settled in Enumclaw in the mid 1980’s. Growing up in “The Claw” he was always getting into mischief with his buddies; however, he was always willing to help his grandparents who also had moved to Enumclaw to be close to the family. After a short time in the Navy, he spent several years traveling the Eastern part of the USA, after which he returned to Enumclaw, met and married Patricia, and in 2001 committed his life to Christ.

Scott was ordained as a minister under the mentorship of his good friend and pastor Paul “Red” Wilson. This led him to join both the International Fellowship of Chaplains and the Christian Crusaders Motorcycle Ministry. Scott served as a disaster relief chaplain and also served at Grace Point Northwest Church. He supervised the Plateau Outreach Ministries’ Winter Shelter Program from 2016 to 2020, helping several people into rehab or off the streets.

Scott struggled with his health throughout his life; however, he didn’t let it stop him from fulfilling his call to ministry. He served the Christian Crusaders as their National Secretary, becoming an elder and supporting the pastors. Since 2023 he needed full-time care but still ministered to anyone he could.

Scott was more than a minister, a biker, or a community leader. He was a beacon of hope, a testament to resilience, and a symbol of dedication. His life was a testament to his belief that it’s never too late to serve and love God. We invite you to celebrate Scott “Catfish” Haven’s life by sharing your memories and photos on his memorial page.
