William (Bill) Desmul
November 22, 1943- January 28, 2026
Bill was born in Omaha, NE and spent his childhood in Ord, NE and Billings, MT, graduating from Central Catholic High in 1962.
He was a Billings police officer for 7 years, starting as a patrol officer and ending as a detective. Then, as a journeyman electrician, he worked throughout the USA. Eventually, he moved his family to Buckley, WA and worked for The Boeing Company for 26 years, retiring in 2013.
Bill loved square dancing, playing pinochle and the banjo and had a beautiful singing voice. He was an avid reader with a love of learning combined with an unselfish desire to help any who knew him.
Bill is survived by his wife of 61 years, Naomi, children Tracy (Todd) Oman, Trevor (Laura) Desmul, grandchildren Jon Oman and Alyssa Oman, siblings David (Bernice) Desmul, Sr, Jennifer Desmul, Diane (Ron) Hunter, Mary Randall, Karen (Guy) Miller, Leonard (Jenne) Desmul and many nieces and nephews, including special nephew David (Jennifer) Desmul, Jr who had a special place in Bill’s heart.
Bill was preceded in death by son, James, parents Leonard and Velda, siblings Kristine Desmul and Gerald Desmul and nephew Gerald Desmul.
