Henry Dean “Dean” Norsworthy,

January 23, 1950- April 28, 2026

With a spirited twinkle in his eye and a courageous heart filled to the brim with a zest for life, Henry Dean “Dean” Norsworthy, born on January 23, 1950, in Orlando, FL, has strummed his last chord on life’s guitar. Dean, a man of boundless creativity and a sense of humor that could light up even the darkest of rooms, departed from us on April 28, 2026.

Dean was a melody of many notes. A Vietnam Veteran, a devoted Certified Nursing Assistant at the Rainier School, a passionate creator of music, a gifted maker of guitars, walking sticks, and glass art, and a purveyor of sage advice. He was also a man of the outdoors, relishing in the simple joys of fishing, camping, and hunting. As Albert Einstein once said, “The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination.” Dean had plenty of both. He touched many lives with his funny anecdotes, his compassionate care for clients, and his heartrending music. He was a beacon of inspiration and laughter, living his life as a creative symphony that resonated in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Dean leaves behind a beautiful family, all of whom carry a piece of his spirited and courageous heart. This includes his loving wife, Diloy Norsworthy, and his children; Angie Nunez, Lynnia Timlick, Shar Ostrem (Carmine), Noel Argo (Doug), Cory Norsworthy, Jennifer Atkission (Aaron), and Camilla Norsworthy (Dylan). He now joins his parents, Henry Norsworthy and Jenny Dean Hunt, in heaven, adding his beautiful harmony to the celestial choir. A graveside service in honor of Dean’s remarkable life was held on Wednesday, May 6, 2026.
