Frederick Mark Krainick
August 12, 1933- July 4, 2026
Frederick Mark Krainick passed away surrounded by his family on July 4, 2026, at the age of 92.
Frederick was born on August 12, 1933, to Charles and Mary Krainick. He was one of four sons, including his twin brother and two older brothers. A lifelong resident of Enumclaw, he graduated from Enumclaw High School in 1952 before being drafted into the U.S. Army. After completing his military service, Frederick worked as a truck driver for several companies while also helping on the family farm.
Frederick was married to his beloved wife, Rose, for 60 years until her passing in 2019. Together they raised their two daughters, Marcie and Debbie, in Enumclaw.
Frederick enjoyed fishing, mushroom picking, clam digging, and traveling with family and friends. He had a lifelong love of polka music, attending Slovenian dances, cheering on his favorite sports teams, and growing what many considered the best corn in town. After making sure family and friends had plenty of corn to enjoy, he looked forward each season to selling it and visiting with the many customers who returned year after year. He also enjoyed relaxing with a cold Miller beer, fireball, and a good cigar.
Frederick is survived by his daughters, Marcia Hughs and Debbie Hitch (Don); his grandchildren, Diana Fowler (Kyle), Natalie Hughs, Heather Hitch, and DJ Hitch; and his great-grandchildren, Kolton and Karter Fowler.
Frederick will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his love of family and friends, and the many memories he created with those who knew him.
