Officers responded to the report of a blocking accident on state Route 410 and Myers Road. No accident report was filed but officers helped with the exchange of information. After speaking with the victim, they spoke with the driver of the vehicle who caused the accident.
Officers responded to a home improvement store to contact a shoplifting suspect in custody. The store’s loss prevention officer saw her put roles of construction wire covering it with hanging baskets into her cart.

Officers responded to a state Route 410 store to the report of a possible theft. Officers were informed that three male subjects took off in the store’s electric cart.
Officers contacted the reporting party at her residence to discuss a vehicle prowl that occurred over night. She told officers her vehicle was left unlocked all night and the next morning she discovered her purse was missing.
The Bonney Lake City Council will meet today at 5:30 p.m. for its scheduled work shop.
The Sumner High School boys tennis team was undefeated last year in the South Puget Sound League 2A and will be bringing its skills to the 3A this year.
SUMNER – The Traffic Avenue on-ramp to eastbound State Route 410 will close overnight from 10 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 14, to 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 15.
Sumner High School’s marching band will join Seattle band Soundgarden, Pharrell Williams and others as the National Football League kicks off the season tomorrow at CenturyLink Field in Seattle.
