Officers responded to a residence regarding a dispute between neighbors over property lines. The reporting party said he believed his neighbor had spray painted his driveway because they have been fighting over where the property line splits the two residences.
Officers responded to a store for a shoplifting in progress. Once officers arrived, they contacted the store’s protection specialist outside the store and he told them he had been watching two suspects. The reporting party watched one conceal cosmetics into her purse.
Dustin Hegge from Lake Tapps tied for 17th place in the Washington state men’s amateur championship.
Hegge finished the three round tournament with a total of 218 along side five other players.

Officers responded to a state Route 410 store to meet the reporting party who found property in the woods while on a walk. She had found a large machete with black electrical tape on the handle.
Officers responded to the report of an open front door at a vacant residence. There three vacant houses in this area that have had issues with people squatting in them. Officers searched the residence and found no one inside but did find heavy mold and mildew.

Last year, the portion of Main Street from Traffic to Valley Ave was resurfaced.
Starting on August 4, the remainder of Main Street from Valley Ave to 160th will be done.
