Contestants wait their turn during a swim meet at Pete’s Pool.  Information with this  photograph suggests it was taken in the 1950s. Pete’s Pool was created by resident Pete Chorak and community  members. The  spring-fed pool was a popular summer spot until it was closed and downsized to a wading pool in the late  1980s-early 1990s.  The fieldhouse still stands.
