Department of Revenue offers free tax workshop for business owners in Tacoma

Business owners in Washington State are responsible for knowing which taxes to report. To help them better-understand that process, the Tacoma office of the Washington State Department of Revenue is hosting a free workshop for new and small business owners.

Date: Wednesday, May 14

Time: 1 to 4 p.m.

Location: The Department’s Tacoma office, 3315 S. 23rd St., second floor conference room

Participants will learn about Washington excise taxes, reporting classifications, deductions, tax incentives, sales tax collection, and record-keeping requirements. All receive a workbook and helpful reference guide to Department of Revenue rules and regulations.
