Japanese-inspired, Washington-based sushi joint Trapper’s Sushi is opening its newest branch at the heart of Enumclaw this month. Located at 1537 Cole Street at what was formerly Jackson’s restaurant, the Trapper’s location will celebrate a soft opening on Jan. 21 and 22 and its grand opening on Jan. 23.

Taylor and Derek Muirhead are the owners of Rainier Fresh, a produce store that aims to bring fresh fruits and veggies from primarily local sources to Buckley. Located next to Blue Max Meats on Highway 410, the Muirheads said they want to provide some of the meal essentials that a grocery store would provide.
