A candidate says ‘thank you’ to voters

I am humbled by your support in my election as your state representative in the 31st Legislative District. I have worked hard in serving as a school board director in the Enumclaw School District for the last five years. I will bring my strong work ethic and dedication in support of all the communities and constituents of the 31st District.

I would like to thank my opponent, Shawn Bunney, for his service to the people of Pierce County as their elected councilman for the last eight years.

It was made crystal clear in this election that the people want fiscal restraint. As a small-business owner I understand what it takes for a business to survive. We must begin to work together to help businesses thrive and generate confidence in our economy. The state of Washington’s revenue problem is found in its spending. The goal is to bring that spending in line with what we all have done in our own households by prioritizing what government provides.

Thank you again for your overwhelming support. I look forward to representing you in Olympia; please contact me with your questions, comments and concerns.
