For a night, all cheered for the EHS Hornets

This is a census year. In few months time we will have an official number of just how many people are fortunate enough to call Enumclaw home.

This is a census year. In few months time we will have an official number of just how many people are fortunate enough to call Enumclaw home.

But at the Tacoma Dome Saturday night, it didn’t matter if you were from Black Diamond, Bonney Lake or even Buckley, we were all from Enumclaw. We cheered as one. On our feet from the first whistle to the last buzzer we were there to support our team. At times it seemed as if the old wooden roof of the dome would surely come off, such was the power of our will. If we could have cheered them to victory our boys would have won by 100 instead of losing by just one. The pain of that one-point loss will linger, but so will the memories of a magical season.

We are proud.

We are heartbroken.

We are Enumclaw.
