I wish to thank all the Secret Santas who delivered gift bags to Enumclaw seniors this Christmas and Thanksgiving.
The sixth graders of Enumclaw conceived this project and decided what was in each bag. Then they delivered these presents very early in the morning. The surprise and delight were complete.
I have been very impressed with the young people of Enumclaw all year. They have shown more courage and imagination than many of the adults in this town. The youngsters deserve many thanks for their generosity and follow-through.
I have a great deal of confidence in the community of our future and the future of our community.
