Letter to the Editor: Congratulations, WRHS scholarship winners

White River Community Scholarship President Nikki Slominski congratulates recent grads

Each year, the White River Community Scholarship organization has the honor of reviewing applications from seniors at White River High School, and we certainly received some outstanding applications this year.

Scholarships were announced on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at the annual Hornet Honors event which recognizes for their achievements such as volunteer hours, scholarships and participation in the National Honor Society. Among the awards announced, the White River Community Scholarship committee had the pleasure of recommending 30 students for various scholarships, all of which were made possible through generous contributions from individuals, community organizations and local businesses.
