Something must be done to keep the library local

Imagine if you will a local hangout where people of all ages come and gather, making many memories and acquiring new friendships.

Now imagine that place being shut down, simply because the funds are not there to support this popular hangout any longer.

The local folk would be devastated, wouldn’t they?

Also, think about how the town would feel if someone suggested to the city that they put a levy up to vote, but the city rejects it because “there’s not enough information” to support such a levy.

Now the locals are really bawling in the streets, aren’t they?

Well, it’s happening right here in Enumclaw, believe it or not.

The city was going to put the library annexation into King County up for vote next month, but they cancelled this because of “lack of information.” In conclusion, we could lose our library.

Something has to be done to save the library, so please write to Mayor Reynolds and the city ASAP.
