Wise offered help when park was threatened

I am writing to give my support to mayor John Wise.

John gave an enormous amount of his personal time in helping us keep Nolte State Park open. He came to several meetings as well as helping me address the State Parks and Recreation Commission in Olympia during that crucial time in which the state was going to shut Nolte down.

I have seen and witnessed those in government who talk to be heard and those who roll up their sleeves and actually work. John doesn’t seem to work for popularity, rather John works to help get the job done. I didn’t see any other public official in helping me keep Nolte open.
