Buckley Kiwanis’ Students of the Month

Buckley Kiwanis Club members honored four young residents as their February students of the month. The following information was provided by the club, based on input from the schools.

ELK RIDGE — AMAYA BELL

Amaya Bell is a 5th grader in Mrs. Roggenkamp’s class at Elk Ridge Elementary. In addition to making amazing academic growth this year, she has also grown as a leader. She is part of our 5th-grade leadership group, encourages her peers to make positive choices, and goes above and beyond to help in all areas of our building. She is a kind and encouraging friend. We are so proud of her!

FOOTHILLS – MASON MOUNT

Mason’s kindness towards his peers, teachers, and everyone around him at Foothills Elementary hasn’t gone unnoticed. His respectful demeanor in the classroom and beyond sets a wonderful example for others to follow. Moreover, his responsible attitude towards his studies and commitments is truly commendable. His consistent display of these virtues not only contributes to a positive learning environment but also inspires others to strive for excellence in their own behavior and academics. His actions inspire us all to be better versions of ourselves, showing us that even small acts of responsibility, kindness, and respect can make a big difference.

Keep up the fantastic work and continue to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

MOUNTAIN MEADOW – RON ANDREASON

Ron is a fifth grader in Mrs. Kovar’s class at Mountain Meadow Elementary. Ron is an exceptional student. He is hard working and kind to everyone. He gives back to the school every morning by tutoring 1st and 2nd graders in their reading skills. He does a fantastic job helping them and supporting what they have learned in class. Ron is also a member of the Wolfpack and always gives back to help Mountain Meadow be a better place to go to school.

WILKESON – KOBE KITORA COUCH

Kobe is always pushing herself to reach new levels both academically and socially at Wikleson Elementary. Working through advanced work assignments, helping others, and making her peers smile throughout the day. She is an overall delight every day to her peers and teachers.
