Drums, dancing, and daffodils filled the air in Tacoma, Puyallup, Sumner and Orting

Daffodil Princesses rolled through Pierce County last Saturday during the annual Daffodil Parade. Although the weather forecast was poor, the rain stayed away as local royalty, like White River High School’s Princess Julia Schmidt, myriad marching bands, and even clowns and pirates traversed though Tacoma, Puyallup, Sumner, and Orting. The next Daffodil Princess is the annual tea, which is being held May 1 at Laurel Creek Manor in Sumner. For more information, go to thedaffodilfestival.org/events/princess-tea/.
